I Need A Nude Palette

Dit palet bij Sephora gekocht, en ik ben fan haar oogschaduw. Ik heb ook het retro palet. En blijft zoo goed zitten. Goed pigment en fijn aan te brengen. Ik heb weinig ruimte op het boven ooglid dus oogschaduw blijft bij mij nooit mooi zitten of verdwijnt in de ooglook. Deze dus niet, blijft heel mooi zitten. Mooie natuurlijke oogschaduw

Since my friend has gifted me Urban Decay - Naked Palette, I did not really need any kind of new nude palettes. But time goes on, and about 5-6 years later I suddenly had an urge for a new nude palette, not that anything is wrong with my UD, it is still of a great quality, blends well and has not become worse in any way (awesome!). With a lot of hype about this palette I started looking into the new formulas, got very curious about them, watched more than a dozen videos (swatches and make up looks), it is indeed as they say, quite boring, but in a good way - you can use it every day and also amp it up with magnificent new glitters (foiled ones). Bought off Cultbeauty, loving the quality, how beautiful everything looks, glitters are mild and intense. Indeed, as they say, some shades are interchangeable, and we could get a couple of different shades instead of almost dupes, I counted at least 3 duped ones, so instead of 3 new, could be new different colors, but then it would not be very nude, i guess. Also I am more into warm color scheme so I was worried how this would look on me. It is quite alright, and i'd say matte shades are on the warmer side and glitters are on the colder sides for my skin. Nice mix and matching, together with UD palette and here I am juggling colors around and have a wonderful amount of great colors to choose from to achieve any daily look. Super happy, also just to play with it and swatch it. Who's also into the swatching game the same as me? 😅

Toen ik het glam-palette dat al jaren op m’n lijstje stond aanschafte, kwam Natasha Denona opeens aan met het I Need A Nude-palette. Zo had ik binnen 3 maanden beide paletten en wat ben ik er blij mee!  Wat een prachtig palette, de kwaliteit is fantastisch, de kleuren geweldig en de finishes top. Het palette is anders dan ik gewend ben, de oogschaduws zijn niet poederig maar wat stroever waardoor ze supergoed blijven zitten.  Als ik iets moet verzinnen dan zou het zijn dat ik toch nog een warme eyeshaduw topper mis om het palette nog veelzijdiger te maken. Maar al met al echt een fantastisch palette om te hebben als je van neutrale/koelere kleuren houdt!
