Ointment Fruities in Coconutter 101

I've tried 'em all & this one's the best. I made my merry way through Lanolips strawberry, peach, pear and the plain 101 unscented ointment versions before finally settling on the coconutter variant. The smell is undeniably yummy. (Take this with a pinch of salt if you don't like coconut.) I apply this every night at bed time. It sticks around 'til morn, providing a deeply nourishing overnight treatment. I believe that this one, compared with the others, manages to provide much more moisture due to the inclusion of coconut oil. Also, excellent for those of us who are avoiding beeswax in our lip balms, for whatever reason. The Lanolips balms come in these cute little retro squeezy tubes with a slanted tip - which I presume are to be applied directly to the lips. I personally don't find that hygienic (as somebody who suffers with cold sores) so I just squeeze a touch out onto my finger for application. Two noteworthy points to keep in mind if considering trying any of the lanolips balms, though - They are shiny. Glossy. They tend to migrate from the lip and give ya a glossy smoosh all around the lip line. And, the main reason I choose specifically to apply this product at bedtime rather than during the day - If you daaaare apply even just a smidgen too much you may very well end up with the product gathering in the corners of your mouth in goopy white blobs. Not a pretty sight, lemme tell ya. These things aside, this is the best nighttime treatment "mask" I've ever found for my parched lips, and it's all natural too. I've seen a massive improvement to the condition of my lips over the time I've been using this balm exclusively. Lanolin is great. Don't believe the nay-sayers who claim anything that isn't Vaseline to be nothing more than "glorified Vaseline". That's, simply put, technically & scientifically bollocks. (Am I allowed to say bollocks? Really though...)
