Leighton Denny Nail Polish

I've not used a nail illuminator nail polish before, so I was intrigued how this one from Leighton Denny would work. After trial and error, I applied too many layers. I found that one or two layers is ample. Using one layer, I could already notice the difference. My nails have a nice, shiny, and illuminated effect. This doubles as a base coat and nail polish, which is perfect for me as my nails need extra protection. This nail illuminator is 76% plant-based formula and contains porcelain flower extraxt, lime tree extra, and Vitamin A, which together helps to nourish and protect nails. I have noticed my nails are stronger since using this nail illuminator. The shade I'm wearing is blush. It's also available in shade Milky. I like that it's a 2-in1 nail polish and nail brightener that is helping to strengthen my nails.

The nail polish bottle and brush are a simple easy to open and use design. The brush is a good size to allow for even coating of the polish onto nails. I recieved the blush shade which has a subtle nude pink colour. It can be used as a base coat to brighten any discoloured nails or use a few thin layers to give a nude pink finish. As a base coat it evened out the colour of my nails. I found this to work best on my toe nails as they are very discoloured and dull after multiple painting (mainly reds or dark shades), so adding this as a base reset ny nail colour and brightened to allowed my nail polish to pop a lot better. As a normal nail colour, the pink nude just gives a lovely glow to finger nails to give the illusion they are well looked after and healthy, whilst also protecting and caring for my nails. It has a lovely illuminating glossy shine finish. The polish stays on really well, and there has been no chips or breakage even after usual routines and handle. It's made with safe ingredients, so no nasty smells or taste when applied. There is vitamin E, lime leaf extract and porcelain flower extract all used to help protect, hydrate and care for the nail. As a base and caring nail polish this is great, it has protective ingredients but mostly the fact that it has not chipped even after a week has been the bonus. Ideal base for discoloured nails, and lovely nude for everyday in between colours.
