The SMPL Skin advice about sunscreen! Safe sunburn is the way to protect you from the sun and harmful substances. The sun can damage the skin quickly and very much, and this should be avoided naturally. But harmful ingredients can also get into the body through the skin. This too should be avoided. Then there are ingredients that can irritate the skin and cause rash. So finding a good sunburn for yourself isn't that easy. Here are some tips from us: Choose Natural Ingredients The skin is best cared for by natural ingredients. We are convinced of this. If you have experienced the difference between natural and synthetic skincare, the choice is easy: you can see the difference so clearly. Choose products without hormone disrupting sunscreens Stay away from the octisalate, oxybenzone, homosalate, octinoxate, octyl dimethyl PABA and octocrylene sunscreens. These chemicals have a hormone disruptive effect and may have a negative impact on our reproductive organs, among others. Are you breastfeeding? Hormone-disrupting sunscreens can even be found in breast milk. Certainly oxybenzone is very easily absorbed into our body and then behaves like estrogen. In addition, the risk of skin allergies is very high with these chemical sunscreens. Which filter? In natural sunburn there is a mineral filter. This is zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. Both filters can be completely safe and good. Whether this is the case is due to the quality of the filter. We chose the titanium dioxide filter. It also comes in different qualities. We chose the highest quality. The sunscreen we use has been extensively scientifically tested and safe for the youngest and not least, safe for our nature. So reef- safe! Choose sunscreen without perfume or essential oils Skin irritations from sunburn are often due to the fragrances that have been added. They give you the wonderful holiday scent when you lubricate but are also the cause of red bumps or other irritation. Unfortunately, natural perfume also has this effect. Our advice: stay away from sunburn with fragrance or perfume in the ingredients list. And of course: Smear regularly, really every 2 hours! Want more info? Look at @smpl_skincare
