This one was so promising... The reviews are really laudatory! Average 5 stars in rating! And yet this vitamin C serum has been disastrous for my skin...! Where do I start... I was surprised when I read the instructions for use. It should be kept in the refrigerator. To keep it fresh is the claim... and to extend the shelf life. Do not refrigerate means a shelf life of 6 weeks, but keeping in the refrigerator means 3 months shelf life. And 3 months is the maximum shelf life of this serum. Surely I was surprised about this. But hey... The 1st time I used this serum it hadn't been in the fridge and the effect was moderate on my skin. I had a bit of the glow, but it disappeared soon. I don't know if that's my skin... The 2nd time I used this serum, I had put it in the fridge the night before. To keep it fresh according to the claim... Well that was a big mistake!! When applied, it burned a lot on my skin. I've never experienced such a burning sensation before. It shocked me very much and immediately rinsed off my face with water! After that, the burning sensation was gone... I don't understand it... Why did this happen? Others were not bothered by anything... I did not follow anything but the instructions for use. And that turned the serum into a burning substance. I'm really confused... It can't be on my skin, other products don't give my skin a burning sensation. A few days later, carefully tried again, the serum has not been in the fridge anymore. This time I had no more burning sensation. Just normal. So the cause is clearly with the refrigerator. It was not indicated to the maximum degree of storage, but maybe my fridge was too cold. I don't know. But I do know this isn't my favorite serum. I just don't like the instructions for use and it hasn't actually done much for my skin either. The glow is minimal and I don't find the 6 weeks shelf life relaxed...! Unfortunately, this is not for me...!

Really this stuff is great. You don't need much for a glow! I bought a small bottle and keep the original bottle in the fridge. It really gives a beautiful glow! Let it move in and then put my day cream over it. Really love!!

This is really my holy grail. If you get a beautiful glow of something that doesn't look greasy or greasy, it's from this serum! Wonderful how it's on my skin. Since I've been using this serum, I've seen a lot of improvement in my skin. It is also a good combination of ferulic acid and vit e to keep the ascorbic acid (vit c) as stable as possible. As geek&gorgeous recommends myself, I kept the serum in the refrigerator with an aluminum foil. It will last for about 2.5 months before I have to buy a new one. I use it on my face, neck, chest and a piece of my neck. Vitamin c is a good antioxidant before you put on an spf. I really became a fan of this brand, thanks in part to this serum. It's affordable, they clearly show the percentages of ingredients in their products, give tips on how to best use them and they're cruelty free. This vitamin c serum is apparently also produced fresh every week, so that it does not oxidize quickly.
