Combined skin
Red spots away
OK about the smell everyone is right. It takes some getting used to. But the texture is soft and gives my skin the peace I was looking for. No more red spots.

May I introduce you to my miracle serum? Facetheory Centasoothe serum is a gift from heaven for sensitive and/or reactive skin. Carefully designed to nourish and soothe your skin without being too much. The scent is... a thingy 😅 But luckily, this one flees fast. The texture is very fine, comparable to the niacinamide serum of TO in viscosity, so on the thicker side, but thin enough to be fine and spreadable. It draws into the skin pretty quickly and leaves no sticky layer (on me). You'll get just enough time to distribute it wonderfully and massage it into your skin. I use it regularly, but especially when I notice that my skin has (threatens to) (have) a reaction to something. Within a few minutes, my skin calms down again and almost all the red spots are gone again. No more fiery rosacea comments 😳 The price is a bit on the spicy side with almost €23, - but with 30% discount to get all a bit more friendly priced. And in my eyes: worth every penny. I highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin, or a skin that needs some extra love occasionally! ❤️

Sensitive skin, Dry skin
You should not pay attention to the smell of this product. Because really, it's super nice stuff! I wasn't familiar with Facetheory at all, but when I read that this serum is free of anything irritating and even helps with eczema, I had to try. And I'm really excited! The moment I started with this serum, I had a tremendously allergic reaction to an Origins mask. Red, inflammation, eczema it was terrible. Actually right after applying this serum I felt and saw improvement. The redness was gone after a day. And now, more than a week later, my skin is in perfect condition. I am a fan!

FaceTheory's Misleading Ingredients List
This product has very good reviews, but I don't like it at all. I got mine for free from Facetheory, but we have to stay honest anyway. I want to say in advance that I only used this product a few times and then stopped. I don't like the product chill to use, nor do I love the brand itself. Let's start with the product itself. The smell is dirty and the product feels odd after application. In itself, you can ignore a good product. Then the brand. The brand is very popular online. They say they work with high percentage actives. But when you look at this product, you can see that the advertised active ingredient is mostly Centella. Yet there is only less than 0.44% Centella in it. Well I know some ingredients work fine, or even better in a low percentage. But Centella is not one of these ingredients. Does this make it a bad product? No. For example, there is a lot of Aloe vera in it, which is also a very fine ingredient. But I still find it weird. I find it misleading to advertise like that. If you don't know how to read an ingredient list and only look at the information they provide on the website, you're buying something completely different than you think.
