Because the glitters are quite chunky, you quickly get bumps. Tip for other beginners: put your finger in the powder and then gently press the layer that is already on your nail so that the glitters lie flat. Also recommended to buy a clear powder before over it so that you don't file the glitters. Furthermore, very nice glitter that works with a few layers on its own but can also be combined well as a thinner layer over a color.
