Incredible

This is an incredible fragrance. Strong but not overwhelming. Mainly made out of essential oils, it lasts more than 24h. Spray it on your jacket and it will feel like it is lasting forever. I always spray on my neck and behind my ears so it leaves a trace behind me. I would recommend it. My favourite at the moment!

Christian Dior Sauvage Elixir

There are few versions of Sauvage, but the Elixir is the one that stands out from the rest. When you first spray it on yourself, you’ll find that you can’t really notice the notes that is within this fragrance; but give it a few seconds and you’ll start to smell the lavender and a strong woody smell. The transition point from the first spray, the woody lavender hits you right out of the bottle at the first spray, followed by cinnamon, cardamom, spicy grapefruit and a hint of sweet smooth wood. The Sauvage Elixir is noticeably different from its predecessors. It is very strong from the first spray, and not in a hateful way, you’re going to get used to it and love it, this is strong, but very smooth. This is a niche product and not for everyone, especially not for teens at all. I am going to rate the Sauvage Elixir 9.5 out of 10. It’s very strong with just 2 sprays, last for more than 9 to 10 hours. Great for work and Black-Tie events, awesome for a date night, however saying that I will not recommend you wear this if you’re going to someone’s wedding, unless you want all the attention. I believe it will perform better in winter. For those of you that live in a sunny climate it will still work good from being outside when it is hot and then back in where there’s air-conditioned spaces you’ll be just fine, the longevity is just amazing. My recommendation for the Sauvage Elixir is to have a maximum effect is 3 sprays and not more than that, you really want to be very careful with this, you do not want to put about 4 to 5 sprays and get on a flight, you are going to make yourself sick and the others as well, two is plenty. As I’ve previously mentioned, this is a masculine fragrance I would not recommend to teenagers. This one is for the grown-ups. It feels mature and commanding. Even after six hundred minutes of mixed-chores I could still detect it, and that shows its impressive longevity. The presentation is simple and there’s nothing more to it, square boxed shape and well-padded from the inside. The bottle itself is small but has a very good weight to it. Yes, and for the magnet lovers, the cap is magnet, so it’s easy to pull off, it’s just a comfort feature to be honest. On my skin, the Sauvage Elixir lasted for a day and a half, even after a shower. I don’t think that this is for everyone, but if you’re someone like me that loves only strong and long-lasting fragrances, then this one’s for you. You’re going to pay a good price for the Sauvage Elixir and you’re also going to notice the size of the bottle and you’re going to ask yourself ‘Did I do the right thing here’ yes, you have. This fragrance will get you loads of compliments, but you still need to be very careful as to when and where you wear it out to. Overall, for myself this fragrance makes it worth the investment, at least for however long the bottle is going to last, depending on your usage.

Different Twist On The Sauvage DNA

My first impression after spraying Dior Sauvage Elixir is an immediate, concentrated hit of warm spice and citrus — a glossy bergamot-like brightness tempered by rich cinnamon and a slightly bitter, herbal edge that reads almost boozy. After a few minutes the scent changes: the top’s sharpness softens as the spices round out and a velvety heart unfolds, introducing creamy wood and resinous amber facets. In the dry-down it becomes deep, polished, and long-lasting, with sandalwood and cedar anchoring a warm, slightly sweet base of tonka, labdanum/amber and soft musk. I’d describe the fragrance as a luxurious, modern woody-oriental with gourmand-spicy accents: bold, refined, and intensely curated. It reminds me of a late-night cocktail in a high-end leather-clad bar — dark wood, warm amber light, and a hint of bittersweet cocoa. Projection is strong at first with noticeable sillage, then it gently hugs the skin; it reads primarily masculine but is absolutely unisex for those who like powerful, refined scents. Longevity is excellent on my skin, around 10–12 hours with lingering traces on clothing long after. Notes breakdown: • Opening: Concentrated citrus brightness (bergamot-like) with warm spices — cinnamon, nutmeg/pepper — and a faint bitter/herbal boozy facet. • Heart / Mid: Creamy, resinous amber and rich woods with aromatic nuances (lavender/geranium-like facets are subtle), smoothing the spices. • Dry-down: Dense sandalwood and cedar, tonka/vanilla-like warmth, labdanum/amber resin, soft musk and a touch of leathery depth. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
