I’ve been using the Erborian CC Dull Correct Cream for a few weeks now, and I wanted to share a detailed review for anyone considering adding it to their daily skincare and makeup routine. Overall, this is a beautifully formulated product that delivers on many of its promises—especially when you’re aiming for a light, natural, everyday look with added skincare benefits. Let’s start with the positives, which are numerous. First and foremost, the colour-matching technology in this CC cream is genuinely impressive. It comes out of the tube with a pale lilac hue, which can be a little surprising at first, but once applied to the skin, it adjusts to match your skin tone remarkably well. I was skeptical about how well this would work, especially without traditional shade matching, but it somehow blends in seamlessly, leaving a more even and radiant complexion. Another strong point is how well it evens out skin tone. It doesn’t act like a heavy foundation, but it does a fantastic job at blurring imperfections, neutralising dullness (especially redness), and creating a more uniform appearance. It’s ideal for those days when you want to look polished without feeling like you’re wearing a full face of makeup. I also love the illuminating effect—it gives a subtle glow that really brightens the skin without being overly dewy or shiny. It highlights the skin in a natural, fresh-faced kind of way. Combined with the fact that it’s moisturising and leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated, it really does double up as both skincare and makeup. One of my favorite aspects is the lightweight feel. It’s barely noticeable once applied, which is perfect for those who dislike the feeling of traditional foundations. It doesn’t clog pores or sit on top of the skin—it blends in so well, it feels like part of your skin. Plus, it’s very easy to remove at the end of the day, coming off cleanly with a regular cleanser or micellar water, without any scrubbing or residue. However, there are a few drawbacks to mention. While the initial effect is lovely, I do find that the coverage doesn’t last all day—especially if you tend to touch your face often, like I do. As the day goes on, I’ve noticed that some blemishes or age spots start to peek through, which can be a little frustrating if you’re relying on it for long-lasting coverage. It’s not transfer-proof, and that delicate coverage can fade with wear, especially in warmer weather or if you’re physically active. That said, for a light everyday CC cream, this really is a fantastic choice. It’s not meant to replace full-coverage products, but rather enhance your natural skin and give you that effortlessly fresh look. I reach for it on days when I want my skin to breathe but still want to look a little more awake and put together. Despite the few coverage concerns, I would highly recommend this product for anyone seeking a multitasking cream that combines skincare with subtle complexion enhancement.

I love the Erborian line, this one I use especially in winter to counteract the silky finish diachronia, I don't like foundation, so for me it's essential.

I bought this CC cream because I don't like the effect of the foundation. It is beautiful, it illuminates the face a lot and corrects facial disagreements. The redness is reduced. It certainly doesn't have the coverage of a foundation, but that's exactly why I love it. Recommended for those who want a uniform, natural but plumped effect on the skin.
