My skin certainly looks matte. So in that respect, it does exactly what it says. I just have the feeling that it has no nourishing effect at all. My skin feels dry. I think that's how it's going to be. Too bad, it wasn't cheap. Will finish the jar but won't buy it again.

I myself have oily skin, the later in the day, the more oily. Because I was excited about many Estee Lauder products, I chose this day cream that would make my shine disappear. Unfortunately, my skin only greased and I had a matte finish for 1 hour at most.
