Unfortunately disappointing

Because I've been using the same mascara for years and I'm really happy with it, I rarely try another one. I received this one from Ilia as a gift and was very curious how good it would be. Unfortunately, I don't like mascara and therefore not recommended. Why not: The mascara is a bit dry and doesn't really give your lashes a very nice shiny black look. It looks like I'm running low on mascara when I'm using it for the first time. The comb is quite thick and has a strange shape that makes it difficult to put on mascara on the lashes that are closest to your nose without touching your nose with your comb. Plus, it doesn't give your lashes an extra full look. I wouldn't buy this mascara myself. Had expected more from a brand like Ilia and I am certainly disappointed. Too bad!
