Thoroughly disappointed

I bought this product after reading great reviews, however I was left disappointed. I always use 2 packs of hair dye as my hair is mid-long however I still didn't have enough product to cover it all. I left on for the maximum time but hardly any colour took and I was left with a very ashy blonde.
