Max Factor Crème Puff Pressed Powder

The @maxfactor Creme Puff face powder is a cult favorite for ages. That's a great recommendation for trying it out! What I like about this powder is that it is in compact form. For me, it's very handy. The powder is very lightweight and doesn’t make my face look cakey. I am applying it with a brush as I do not like powder puffs. It looks very soft on the skin and gives a nice satin opaque effect. It has a buildable light to medium coverage. Oh, and it works well with all of my foundations. The minus points: The powder is scented. It's has a pleasant powdery smell but you can feel it all day so if you are scent sensitive it may be a little bit annoying. The color. Even though I've got the 05 translucent shade it still has some pinky-beige tint of color which may look too dark on lighter skin tones. Overall I think that it's a good product. The formula may seem a little bit old-fashioned compared to all of the similar products available on the market at the moment, but still it works well and does what it has to do.

This time the color was just right! I am not a powder person but was really curious about this product and was not disappointed! it looks good when you are using it just on the base or cream, gives you very natural look, is practically invisible when you take just right amount on your brush. very happy about it @maxfactor

I bought this with high hopes, as max factor has a great reputation. I was hoping to get good value for money and a daily power. The fragrance was nice and the colour was quite a match from the outside. However, when I tried it on, it seemed a lot lighter. It was also quite cakey and made me look washed out. It sat quite deep in my wrinkles and made them stand out more- not really what I was looking for!

Received this product to test, it’s a light weight but still effective at giving a matte finish. I thought it worked best over foundation. Overall I would recommend this as a good touch up powder when out abs about.
