NYX Professional Makeup Setting Spray - Matte Finish - 3 X Setting Sprays

I’ve been using this product for years now and it’s still my go to setting spray. The right amount is key to a smooth finish and reduced shine compared to other products I’ve tried. It really brings my makeup to life as a finishing touch at the end of my make up seems a little dull or dry, it creates the finish I need without being greasy

As someone with oily/combination skin, humid days can make my face feel heavy and sticky so I was desperate to find something cooling to apply and attempt to control that feeling. I found a mini bottle of this product and decided to give it a try. I was well pleased when my face remained feeling normal halfway through my day. This won’t make your makeup look matte or anything like that but it does control the oiliness that ends up making your makeup look cakey and patchy when you have oily skin. Definitely will repurchase.

this is a decent and trustworthy setting spray, but not the best for the completey matte look. if you want hold, this is great, but will not stop oiliness. for extra hold use both after your base and after powder products, letting it dry fully. works well in the heat for holding your look together!

This matte setting spray does a fab job keeping makeup in place and reducing shine through the day—especially if you’re oily in the T-zone. It’s light, dries fast, and gives a nice soft-matte finish. But if you’re prone to sweating (hello, summer days or busy work shifts!), it doesn’t hold up as well. I noticed my makeup started slipping a bit after a few hours in the heat.
