What does it do?

What does it actually do? I really like the idea of a heat-resistant spray for your hair. However, I notice little difference after spraying. It feels like you're putting hairspray (including the chemical scent) in your hair and that it should work against heat and hair protection. I'm just not convinced yet, because I see and notice little difference. And then I also think the price is a bit too high.
