Originele Rituals - Touch of Heaven
Nowadays better known as Happy Buddha, but before the marketing department started working on it, it was simply called Touch of Heaven. This is also the original fragrance. “Why original?” I hear you think. The Rituals experts among us now know that every once in a while, the list of ingredients for all Rituals lines is updated. The whole thing usually remains the same, but there are indeed nuance differences, as Rituals themselves call them. Previously, it was even announced on the website, but they don't do that anymore. A kind of heads up that there is a difference in smell sensation. Maybe they're afraid of lawsuits like the one that happened with Mehr line. Rituals can no longer advertise that Mehr is the renewed Happy Buddha line. (Rightly so because Happy Buddha does not look like the Mehr line at all) Unfortunately, you will still end up with the Mehr line if you are still looking for Happy Buddha; it is no longer sold ladies! 💔 I had still kept the Touch of Heaven and unfortunately it smelled old and started to curdle. But now that I'm further in the tube, I can smell the scent that is so perfect again. Cedarwood and orange. I deliberately name cedar wood first because you can smell it first, then it ends with the citrus scent of the orange. The later versions (touch of happiness and Happy Buddha) are more like orange, which I understand because it has been scientifically proven that the smell of oranges equates to feeling happy. Too bad Rituals no longer has any citrusy fragrance lines. The Mandarin delight, for example, was also a gem.
