Dear Dahlia, we need to talk.....

Strangely enough, with Korean brands, I often have the best color match with my very pale, slightly warm skin tone. Then I saw that douglas is now selling Dear Dhalia and became curious about their foundation. Also because it is described as not too opaque and a natural finish that I like myself. In addition, I think the packaging looks very nice and luxurious. In terms of colormatch, I had gambled well. This one is perfect. I need the bleakest of most brands and it's often on the dark side. This brand has an even lighter color. Indeed, the foundation has the finish it promises and on parts of my face that are even and slightly greasier, it is also a nice foundation. But in many areas of my face, there are dry spots and crawling into pores. Especially on my nose, it's really not a face. I don't have primers. I always use the Embryolisse cream for this or thank you farmer's cc if I want a glowy effect. Both only seem to make the result worse. I also had a face oil soak in beforehand. It all helped the dry areas but the pores were still very visible and a new problem appeared; The foundation started to slide. I spend quite a lot of time sitting on my face and a little bit of foundation came on my fingers every time. After a few hours, I even seemed to have almost nothing on my head except in some lines what looks dirtier. So I'm not too happy after all. It may also be that I have a less beautiful finish because I like to apply things with my fingers. I did try with a sponge that seemed to go better (except for the nose). I don't own a foundation brush. A setting spray (urban decay) didn't help either (tried before and after). The best result was actually without anything underneath. So who knows, it might also be applying it a bit. If anyone recognizes this problem and thinks yes you should try this primer or brush or method of application, I would love to hear it! I especially have the dry skin problem with foundations more often, even after moisturising. So advantages are the shaderange (for pale farts), the very nice packaging, the finish on perfect skin, Negatives: dries out, accentuates imperfections, does not become a good one with cream, etc. that you apply before. buy if: You care more about packaging than the contents, you are pale and have trouble finding a pale foundation and have a fairly perfect skin texture of yourself. I also think it might be better on slightly oily skin than my slightly drier skin.
