Combined skin, Sensitive skin, Acne
soothing + hydrating with great ingredients
I have always been a fan of lush products but a select few stand out to me and I have quite delicate skin and some of their products can be highly perfumed. The main two I have stuck with for over 5 years now are the tea tree toner, and their ‘let the good times roll’ scrub. In conjunction they’re a real treat to my skin. The scrub is very gentle; I tend to use this in the shower on my entire face, and also on my shoulders (both places I struggle with hormonal acne) to help to gently exfoliate and avoid scarring. I then follow with the tea tree toner on damp skin to reap all the benefits of its anti blemish ingredients. It’s also great to keep cool and hygienic in the summer months. A must have product/duo.

Does the job
To be brutally honest, it just is what it is. I’ve had similar products that are much cheaper and do the same. It’s a good product but the price point doesn’t reflect the results given the other comparisons on the market. If you’re in a budget, I’d recommend a cheaper alternative.

Oil prone saviour
This product was very helpful in keeping break outs from t-zone oil heavy periods especially when hormones caused it to be more frequently

Tea Tree Water Toner
This mist spray helped me maintain some of my acne under control. The effect was given by the tea tree water antibacterial properties. I sprayed it on my face, chest and back area. The grapefruit water helps to even out the skin tone. This product has added fragrance to make it more appealing to use although I considered this to be unnecessary. The product seems to lack actual active ingredients. I have no idea of the concentration of the tea tree extract used, as well as if it does contain any traces of essential oils. If it would, these would be sepparated from the water content and would be of no use, even if you would shake well the bottle before using. I made the mistake of storing the bottle in my backpack after purchasing it and the bottle leaked throughout my journey.
