UV Filters SPF 45 Serum

I love sunscreens so much and it is sometimes a chore to find one that doesn’t leave a cast. This one blends seamlessly in a couple seconds and leaves a glowy finish. It doesn’t sting the eyes too!

I bought this cause I kept getting adverts for it and I saw it in Boots and NEEDED to try it!! I prefer chemical sunscreens because they don’t leave so much of a white cast and feel smoother, and this being spf 45 made me think it might be super light. I was a little disappointed to find that it’s actually quite heavy and greasy. It definitely leaves NO whitecast which is nice, but it doesn’t feel light at all and I hate it on my skin cause it appears greasy and shiny. I like the applicator a lot though, always a fan of pump applicators, keeps everything clean. I also like the packaging and such. It’s just such a shame that it’s heavy, especially cause it’s spf 45 and not 50, and especially cause it was actually quite expensive too. I would’ve paid the exact same price for the korean sunscreen I already use. I think the price was definitely an influencing factor in my disappointment but oh well. I’ll continue to use it anyway.

I really wanted to love this. I checked the ingredient list and it looked so promising. Unscented too which is fab. After 5 minutes I started getting itchy around my forehead ( where I’d patch tested) I had loads of bumps come up and it was sore and hot. The acne stayed for a few days and I had to stop use.

I literally fell in love with this product! I've never been able to put up with sunscreens that leave that annoying white residue, but that's a whole other story. It is perfect to use both as a protective serum in daily skincare and as a base under make-up. It has a delicate and very pleasant scent, gives an incredible natural luminosity and is immediately absorbed without greasing. More than just sunscreen, it's a real beauty serum with SPF. ✨🌞 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
