After reading all the amazing reviews and checking all the hype, I must say I was quite disappointed when I got my hands on this cream. I have quite sensitive skin and this cream did not do wonders (as I had read pretty much everywhere). One of the first things I noticed was how it had a scent to it, which means it has fragrance (and that is not quite good for the skin as it irritates it). After using it for a while I clearly noticed it did not hydrate that much and I was quite disappointed because I really wanted to like it. I much rather save the money and get something more effective and cheaper.

How does this compare against much cheaper brands such as Nivea face cream? I’ve heard many people say Nivea is just as good if not slightly better! Is this really worth the price tag?

Tried a small tester pot of this cream so I didn't have a prolonged time to really assess the product more than my initial thoughts. This cream smelt and felt great, nice thick and hydrating. It went on well, absorbed quickly and my skin felt fine. On reading the ingredients I was surprised there were no actives, this has a little Algee which is the only interesting ingredient the rest is what you'd expect in an old fashioned jar of 'Ponds'. I can't work out where they get the price from. So I can't recommend this product. There have been so many break through ingredients from k beauty that are backed up with research, you can purchase products that really work for a fraction of the price.
