I love the squalene addition as it feels gorgeous and moisturising on the face, even though the real retinol benefits come with long term use. I felt that my skin looked better in the morning after only a few uses, with reduced redness and acne. Highly recommend. 

⭐️ HONEST REVIEW ⭐️ I've been using The Ordinary's retinol serum for six months now, and I have to be honest, it works incredibly well. I was afraid to buy it at first because I had heard that these actually induce purities, but fortunately this is not the case, in the beginning it is immediately useful to build it up slowly because retinol already has quite a strong effect and not every type of skin type could stand it. I started once a week for 2 weeks and then I slowly built it up to every night. The advantages of this retinol is that it is super affordable and works just as well as those of, for example, €30, - and there is a small disadvantage, it is a bit greasy, so I would possibly let it soak in for 20 minutes and remove the other leftovers with a cotton pad ✨

Retinol is THE solution for fine lines. I've used this in my skincare routine plus good hydration is key. Because retinol can dry out the skin a bit. Its use must be built up. Irritation may occur. This substance is easy to spread. Wear good SPF for days afterwards!

First of all this product is beautiful I've already noticed visible results as someone who buys skincare in hope in works but never usually does my experience with this has actually been amazing my pigmentation has definitely improved around my under eyes and under my nose which is surprising since i forget to use it regularly but its best to introduce it slowly to your routine another thing i would love to add is once i put it on omg it leaves my face so glowy its so beautiful shame its supposed to be put on at night otherwise it makes ur face look so dewy and not even greasy either way it works and is also really affordable so far i love itttt

Before I started using this product, I had very impure skin. I'd even say acne. I bought this product 5 months ago and have already bought it twice because it is so good. I use this serum after thoroughly washing my skin. The serum moisturizes my skin very much and makes it glow. It dries quickly and is great to combine with other skincare products. I would recommend it to anyone with impure skin.

This retinol is not too heavy for your skin. I have sensitive skin and have built up nicely and was able to use this cream every night without irritation. After prolonged use, I saw a reduction in the fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes and my skin was beautifully plump and shiny. Good luck!

I'm really a fan of this retinol serum. I've already used several Paula's Choice products, but I've tried retinol from other brands first. I had the idea that it did something, but I have to say that it wasn't really life-changing results. When I started using it, I first thought I had made the wrong decision because my skin was going to peel/purge (this appears to be normal). After a week, the purging was over and after 2 weeks the peeling was over and I really have much nicer skin than before. It looks nice and smooth, so I'll never use other retinol again!

Ideal product. However, apply extra Hydra cream. Let the skin get used to the product first, so only use it a few times a week for the first few weeks. Now I use it every night. Very nice product structure, not too greasy and super nice bus. Thanks to the pressure pump, you don't use too much and the product lasts a long time. Worth his money!! 😉

Very good product! It is mainly used against wrinkles but I had heard good things about it for pimples. I have been using it for 1 month now and I have fewer pimples. Pleasant texture. Attention, apply to very dry skin and use in the evening because it is photosensitive.

I've been using this product for 2/3 months now and I'm obsessed! I had a lot of acne scars and very red spots. after using this product, I saw a difference in 2 weeks, the red spots disappeared well and my skin recovered very well, I would really recommend this if you are still looking for a good product that helps repair skin and acne scars.

After being on medication for acne, I found this was one of the most helpful products to prevent breakouts. The retinol isn't irritating on my skin and it's slowly helping to get rid of scars and hyperpigmentation left by my acne! I have recommended it to so many friends.

Inkey list is already my favourite brand for skincare. They’re gentle, soft, and stick to the basics.  Their Retinol is amazing! It’s a great way to introduce retinol into your skincare!  The packaging is simple for starters, minimal but on the bottom it tells you when to apply the product in what order (cleanse, treat ect).  This product is incredibly easy to use and pairs well with the retinol eye cream as well. This is perfect to start your winter skincare, to prepare your glowy skin for summer.  #autumnEssentials  

The best thing I've done to my skin in recent years is to add retinol to my skincare routine, specifically that of The Inkey List. At 23 years old, I already had deep wrinkles on my forehead. I was super insecure about this and did everything I could to make sure my forehead wasn't visible when I walked out the door. I also made sure that my forehead was not clearly visible in photos. I even considered a botox treatment but am really glad I didn't in the end but decided to go for the skincare option! So I decided to create the problem instead of either stopping the problem or going for what I feel like an easier option... and I discovered retinol from The Inkey List and oh god! I am so glad that I started this. Where, as mentioned earlier, I was ashamed of my forehead, it is now very much gone, just like the deep lines on my forehead. Don't you believe me? See photos! I slowly introduced the retinol to my skin by first applying it twice a week to dry skin, followed by a good moisturizing night cream. The next day, I make sure I apply sunscreen properly. As soon as my skin tolerated retinol, I increased the use of the product to three and then four days a week. I definitely recommend it. Many people quit quickly because it makes your skin worse, but retinol actually removes all bacteria from your skin and you can only see real results after 3-6 months. If you use retinol, don't use it every night at first, let your skin get used to it. With retinol, you should definitely moisturize your skin properly, so just before using retinol, moisturizer again after retinol, and always use spf in the morning, because with retinol, your skin is less resistant to the sun.

Very excited about this serum.. Personally, I like this one better than Paula's choice. Do build up when you start using retinol for the first time. I let the serum soak in and then apply moisturizer over it. Because otherwise I'll get some peeling on the skin. But a nice serum at a great price.

I've been using this product every other day for several years. I used PC's 1% retinol for a while, but found it a little too intense for my not-so-old skin. That's why I went back to this retinol, and it does its job: after using it, I immediately notice brighter skin. Over the longer period, I see that any form of fine lines have disappeared. I don't have many yet, but notice that there are no more. Hopefully, this effect will last for a while! So for girls who are just starting retinol because they are in their mid-20s, or people with sensitive skin: this is a great product!

In the past few years, I've experimented a lot with skincare, my dry eczema-prone skin didn't like all the products. But this serum has made a world of difference in my skin. Benefits: - It spreads nicely - The product comes in a handy package and is sealed airtight, so it does not qualify with moisture, air and/or dirt. - It has a low concentration of retinol, perfect for beginners. - My impurities are gone (and won't come back unless it's the time of the month.. 😉). - My scars are gone or significantly reduced. I can't think of any disadvantages about this product. However, it is good to know that you have to build up slowly with this product. A good way to incorporate retinol into your routine is to use the sandwich method. As a result, you are less likely to have a hypersensitivity reaction. Tip from flip! Do you use retinol? This is the Cerave Retinol serum, available at various drugstores. It should reduce blemishes on your face and contains no alcohol and the like. I tried this serum for a few days, in the evening, after cleansing my face. I'm definitely noticing improvement, the scars and pimples are almost gone and my skin looks much better. Still looking for a nice retinol serum? Then this is a must!

Really a super nice product! I've never used retinol before and noticed with this stuff that red spots that formed after pimples around my period went away much faster. Normally, these spots stay in place for a few weeks, but with this stuff, it disappeared after a week. I then use it every other night. When I started using this, I did get some pimples at first, but I read that's normal and it's a build up that comes up. After that, my skin calmed down again. It also didn't give me dry or irritated skin, but I don't have such sensitive skin either.

Great product! I started adding retinol to my skincare routine with this product and, by slowly building up, I didn't experience any purging/irritation or anything like that. After 2 months of seeing a clear difference, my skin is much smoother and really glowing, it looks much healthier. It also helps a bit against hyperpigmentation, but I haven't seen a huge difference yet, I think you'll need longer. I now use it every night and when it runs out, I switch to a higher percentage of retinol, because it contains only 0.1%. But ideal to start with!

The serum is a thick oily substance. I myself have fairly oily skin with frequent pimples. Since using this serum, the pimples have really diminished, I also have the idea that my skin is more even and looks much healthier. It does take a while to see results, and breakouts of breakouts can actually get worse at first. I think this serum is pricey, but I am very happy with the results. Furthermore, the serum absorbs quickly, does not leave a greasy layer and you need very little of it so that you can use a bottle for a long time.

I ordered this product a few weeks ago. I have dry skin with textured bumps. I had first used a sample of the purple retinol cream, which dried out my skin. (I have retinol drying out my skin more often). So I went to try this one. This is more of a thick oily substance. He moves in quickly and certainly does his job. It does not leave the skin greasy and provides extra hydration. I would definitely recommend this one to someone with dry or sensitive skin. Plus that it also contains vitamin c! It is well worth the price. You only use this 3 times a week and you can do it for at least six months.

Super fine serum for my skin. Small pimples disappear immediately and beginning lines do not worsen. Can't do without this serum.
