For a few days I have been using the Effaclar K (+) by La Roche Posay. Not long enough to write a comprehensive review, but I wanted to share my first findings with you.:) La Roche Posay Effaclar (K+) is a day cream for combination to oily skin. First of all, this product fights black dots and smoothes irregular skin again. In addition, it is ideal for regulating sebum production and hence the shine of the skin. So I wanted to try this cream right away as I suffer from black dots on my nose and my T-zone is going to shine very much throughout the day. When I used the Effaclar (K+) for the first time, I immediately found it nice to smell fresh! The texture is very light and aquagel-like, which also hydrates the skin. Two flies in one fell swoop! Or, I thought so.;) It is now the fourth day I use this product and I notice that my skin is already responding to it. This way my skin shines much less throughout the day, but it has become drier! Normally my nose is never dry, so now it is. Hmmm... When I looked at the ingredients, I saw that Effaclar (K+) contains salicylic acid (BHA). This ingredient is dehydrating and basically you need to use a moisturizing cream to protect your skin. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to let the Effaclar (K+) work for a bit and then use a thin layer of moisturizing cream (of course one suitable for combination + oily skin). OR would I last a few days? Maybe my skin needs to get used to the product? So be prosecuted! Have you tried La Roche Posay Effaclar (K+) yet? I love to hear it! Love, Laura
