Juno & Co microfiber sponge alternative? Recently I placed and order in Boozyshop and it came with a mystery bag that included their own brand sponge(4.95€) that wants to be a dupe for the Juno sponge (5.50€). The concept is the same, a fluffy sponge with a layer of a velvet-like texture. The shape is different, the Juno sponge comes with two flat sides while the Boozyshop sponge has egg shape. Another difference is that the Boozyshop sponge grows faster and bigger than the Juno sponge which made me think that it would absorb some product and I was right. With the Juno sponge I had to use way less product than with other sponges (and a little more than with a brush) and he Boozyshop sponge gave a more sheer finish to my foundation so to get the normal coverage I had to apply a second layer. The juno Sponge is very easy to clean after use as the product doesnt get into the sponge, but the Boozyshop one absorbs it the same way than a traditional sponge would do and it takes more time to clean. The finish on the skin once the second layer was applied it was good but a bit less flawless than with the Juno. So, after all, I have to say that it is not a dupe by any means but it is still a decent sponge. Would I recomend it? No, the Juno Sponge is better and now that we don't have to order it from the states as it is available on Beauty Bay and the price difference is 55 cents I think it is just worth it to get the original one. So far the only good dupe is the Velvet Sponge by Trending Pro (for sale in Maquibeauty) and it costs 4€ so the price different is not that big either. Hope this helps someone!
