I love keeping my skincare routine as simple as possible. Actually, I don't like a 5-step or 7-step routine like that. I find my skin loves a simple routine too. That's why I never had breakouts. I also love variety in my products so I can try everything.. However, I suffer from certain skin problems, such as dry/dehydrated skin, blackheads and hyperpigmentation. I don't have sensitive skin, my skin can have a lot, and with stress periods I don't notice my skin. It was obvious to me, but now that I read a lot of reviews here I realize that's not obvious, because other ladies do suffer from it...! My basic routine currently is Dr. Leenarts's facial cleanser and day/night cream. I love Dr. Leenarts's point of view: simple skincare without unnecessary additives. Her products are also focused on dry skin and are super advantageous to be obtained in the drugstore. Since I love experimenting and trying out new products, I alternate a lot with my toners, serums and exfoliants. My favorite brands are Paula's Choice, The Ordinary, Korean skincare and dr. Leenarts. Currently, I do have a 5-step routine since I started Weareeves. I've been inspired by the many reviews so I've added a toner, serum and exfoliant. Before I was on this platform, it was really simple what I used on a daily basis. I've always used products but now it's really extensive and I'm also deeper into the ingredients and products. But I notice that I like doing the 5-step routine every day... it doesn't feel like routine anymore. I also notice that my skin gets a glow on this comprehensive routine, so that's only good!
