Great Ingredients, Minor Drawbacks

What I liked: • The lightweight texture felt comfortable and not greasy, which is rare for an SPF product. • I appreciated the non-comedogenic and fragrance-free formula—it didn’t break me out or irritate my skin. • It contains niacinamide and ceramides, which I already use separately, so it simplified my routine. • The built-in SPF 30 made it super convenient in the mornings—no need for layering extra sunscreen (for everyday use, at least). What I didn’t like: • It left a slight white cast on my skin (medium skin tone), especially around the hairline and eyebrows if I wasn’t careful. • Sometimes it would pill when I applied makeup or certain serums underneath. • I felt it could’ve been more hydrating, especially during colder months—on dry days, I had to layer another moisturizer under it. ⸻ How did I use it? I used it as my final step in the morning skincare routine, right after applying my serums. I’d use about a nickel-sized amount and gently rub it in. I gave it a few minutes to absorb before applying makeup (when I wore any). On days I was just indoors or had minimal sun exposure, I didn’t bother with any additional sunscreen. ⸻ Would I recommend it, and why? Yes, I would recommend it—especially for people with normal to combination or oily skin, or anyone looking for a simple, no-fuss daytime moisturizer with SPF. It’s affordable, accessible, and formulated with solid ingredients that support the skin barrier. However, I’d recommend testing it first if: • You have a darker skin tone (due to potential white cast), • You wear a lot of makeup over it (due to pilling), or • You need a very hydrating moisturizer.

There are better daily SPF creams out there

I don't love this. It moisturises fine, but it doesn't feel like it soaks in. It leaves a bit of a layer on your face. Perhaps from the SPF? It also doesn't play nicely with make up. Perhaps if you are going to be outside all day and not wearing make up, it would be fine. I won't re-purchase. There are other, better, daily SPF moisturisers out there at drugstore prices.
