Peach fuzz be gone!
What a discovery! Best hair removal tool - better than waxing or waxing! I use this to remove the soft hairs from my upper lip. It can also be used for down hair on other parts of your face, the so-called “peach fuzz”. Why am I so excited? I like simple, well-designed tools that you purchase once and can't be broken. This is just a spring with two handles. This brand is extra durable because it comes in a cardboard box, so no plastic packaging waste (the tool is in a very thin plastic bag inside the box, for hygiene) In addition, it is also super soft on your skin; you don't apply chemical or sticky stuff on your skin. If you learn the right technique, your skin is hardly pulled. Ideal for sensitive skin (actually for any skin). I don't suffer from redness after hair removal, so to speak I could do it quickly in the morning before my job interview;) How do you proceed? You bend the spring into a U-shape, place it on the piece of face to be depilated and you turn the handles inward. The hairs are then grabbed by the spring. You can just keep twisting and the hairs are pulled out slowly. That's how I saw it on some youtube tutorials. Personally, I think that is quite a torture, so I make a very fast move. As soon as I feel that the hairs are stuck, I give a short upward tug. I do this plucking motion very quickly in succession, within 3 minutes my entire upper lip is free of hair. Sore? Mah. The first time, because you will be your own guinea pig;) But don't let that beat you out of the field, you'll get better at it all the time. Now that I have it in my fingers, I hardly feel any of it anymore. Similar to plucking eyebrows with tweezers. You can always remove the hairs in between by pulling the spring apart and blowing it. Then you have more grip again. When you're done, clean it a little more thoroughly under running water. Optional: you can still spray with some alcohol. Although my skin is quite relaxed after that, I always put a soothing gel or serum on it. This is very suitable for those who like minimalism, for those who want to be a bit poorer down hair and for those who like 95% of the hairs removed (for 100% you are too long). Especially suitable for small areas. I don't know if it works just as well for thicker hair. An efficient technique is important to make this tool a success - I tried to describe this as well as possible, but you have to feel and experience it for yourself. PS doesn't let you be tempted by expensive, fancy brands. Again, this is just a metal spring, that's it! PPS down hair is quite normal, everyone has them, if you don't bother yourself, you don't need this tool at all.
