Holy grail for cystitis sufferers

I suffer frequently with cystitis so I take a cranberry pill everyday to keep it at bay. I will never stop taking these as within a few days of doing so, I get another attack and it's the worst pain I've ever felt. These are cost effective to me as they literally save my life.
