delilah Alibi Fluid Foundation (Various Shades) - Bamboo

I saw Hannah Martin using this foundation and decided to buy it. Choosing a shade online was a little difficult and the shade range is really limited, but I do think the colours are quite adaptable. I opted for the shade Bamboo and it turned out to be pretty spot on. The foundation itself was surprisingly runny (don’t pump it onto the back of your hand - it will end up on the carpet) so as directed by Delilah I put one pump onto a foundation brush, dotted it around my face and then blended it in. Because of the runny consistency I wasn’t expecting miracles but it gave surprisingly good coverage! It’s buildable too which is handy. Despite the full coverage, it has a pretty natural finish. Before this foundation I used EL double wear - the coverage is comparable but the Delilah looks so much more skin-like (obviously you can still tell you’re wearing foundation). It’s not as matte as EL DW and has some radiance on my oily skin, but it might not have the same finish on drier skins. This is now my go-to foundation for nights out, or for days where I need my base to last a long time (most foundations disappear off my face by lunchtime). I do prefer a slightly more natural, “no make-up” finish so on other days I use Delilah Time Frame which is lighter. One star knocked off for the limited and not particularly inclusive shade range (so many brands need to do better there). Otherwise, love it.

Delilah Alibi Foundation This foundation is really nice. It is a fluid so very thin, but therefore very easy to distribute on your face. You only need very little and it gives a natural result. The finish is a bit matte, yet with a glow. Coverage is medium and I think it's easy to build up. For me, a thin layer is sufficient. Small downside: I don't like the smell. But as soon as it is applied, the scent is gone. Really wanted to share it with you!
