Exfoliating Charcoal Mask

In just 10 minutes this product took my skin from oily and yuck to smooth and DAMN I look good! The buy one get one free is a big help on the wallet. I also like that they don’t test the final product on animals, has no parabens added and has mostly organic ingredients.

I will never recommend this mask to anyone. I wear a mask once a week, and tonight it was my turn. The second I put it on, it started to burn a bit. I'm used to my skin stinging sometimes so I decided to wait a while. But this was no longer normal. Within 3 minutes, I washed it off. My face was red but pulled away fairly quickly. The burning sensation had also completely disappeared. Because of the walnut pieces, the mask has exfoliated my face a bit and still feels softer than before I put it on. Hence the 2 stars 😅

I've used quite a few different types and brands of masks in my life and I've never had a bad reaction to anything. Until I tried this mask.. Actually, almost immediately when I was putting on the mask, I felt it burn a bit. I left it alone for a while but it only got worse. My skin seemed to be on fire, so after 3 minutes I took it all off. I don't even have sensitive skin, but this really didn't work. I would definitely not recommend it! I also think it's really bad for your skin this..

Lately, I've tested multiple masks from the Etos. Although I am generally quite happy about the masks of the Etos, it was a real disaster. I tested this mask with my sisters. I have dry/sensitive skin and they have oily skin. After 2 minutes, the mask began to irritate quite a bit. It felt like my skin was burning all the way. We took off the mask immediately, resulting in all three of us having a red face. My skin got very dry after this mask. It took me some time to get my skin back in order. So this mask was certainly not a success! What do you think about the Etos masks? Love 💓
