Does exactly what it says on the bottle…..NO YELLOW. With it being a purple toned shampoo it takes the awful yellow brassy tones out of bleached hair and restores the glorious blonde that you desire!! And this really works!!! And works well!!! Fanola is amazing and got my blonde back to blonde in ONE WASH but please beware and WEAR GLOVES AS ITS HIGHLY PIGMENTED and will stain your skin bathtub and towels oh and don’t leave it in too long as you may get an unintended purple rinse!!!!

Now this product really does take out any brassy/yellow tones in your hair which is fantastic in that regards! It is quite a harsh product. My main issue with this product is that it is super drying, which isn’t great for bleached hair. I used this maybe once every few weeks when I wanted a proper at home ‘tone’ between hair appointments, but whenever I did my hair just felt meh. I needed a really good conditioning treatment for afterwards. I guess you have to weigh up what’s more important, for me my hair health is especially when there are alternative great toning shampoos which aren’t as harsh that I would personally go to instead. I currently really like the John Freida violet crush blonde shampoo range. If you’re looking for an alternative I’d definitely say check that out instead!

This is probably most likely the best purple shampoo ever! It removes the yellow tinge from my hair within minutes. No fuss just use like a normal shampoo, leave for a couple of minutes and just like that the yellow has gone. I’ve never had any negative results when using it on my hair.
