Ferulic Acid Spot & Pigmentation Serum

Unfortunately, the Boozyshop Ferulic Acid Spot & Pigmentation Serum is not what I look for in an ideal serum. The serum contains ferulic acid and niacinamide. These ingredients have a smoothing and brightening effect to prevent premature skin aging. It also claims to give you 'a layer of protection'. Niacinamide also ensures the absorption of sebum, the prevention of impurities and the production of collagen for skin elasticity. Another claim is that, thanks to the ingredients, your skin will react better to other products. The main purpose of this serum is to reduce the visibility of pigment spots and dark spots due to acne. According to the packaging, the serum does not contain alcohol and perfume, but does contain Benzyl Alcohol and this can also be irritating. So many claims, but does the serum also live up to these? Unfortunately, not in my experience. My skin has become slightly more even after use, but dark spots do not diminish significantly. I can't tell if the serum actually slows down skin aging after a short time of use. The biggest disadvantage of this serum is that it can sting when applied, especially if you have sensitive skin. Also, I don't find the packaging that handy; it's not a pipette, so you have to keep the bottle upside down to get a drop on your face.
