Polygel Starterset Gold

I bought this set a while ago and tried it tonight, the very first time for me to apply nails myself. And to be honest, I found it quite a mess despite the clear description that came with it and can be found on the website. The nail that did work out unintentionally became an Ombre and I'm quite proud of that. For the other nails, I had to throw in the towel fairly quickly. That should take some practice, even if it looks very simple on Insta. For the already experienced nail technician or home practitioner, this will definitely be a piece of cake. The starter package comes standard with 12 tips that should fit every nail. But unfortunately for me, either too far over the cuticles or too far away from them. And when I press with a clothespin because I did not have the included transparent “clip”, but it presses far too hard and does not fit properly over the cuticle and nail. The colors of the starter set are completely similar to what's on the website, it doesn't smell overly chemical. Update: 8/24/24 I got a new “clip” via the help desk so that's great. I have all nails within 2.5 hours (!) got it. Getting 1 hand ready in one go is impossible given the long tips and again, if you have fairly flat nails of your own, you should assume that you should also flatten the tip yourself under the lamp or agree to have a thick layer of gel/void on your nail. The removal, like all others, involves filing properly, in acetone and then aftercare.

I bought it with all the guts, colors are different than they should be, the tips for shaping them are far too round and don't fit your nail properly, the clips you should put on it to hold your nail when it needs to dry, it's far too tight, the whole gel is on the sides of your fingers so outside your nails and the gel is pressed too flat.
