Diamond Lippenbalsem - Negligee

I was initially drawn to this product because of the shimmer. I bought this perhaps two years ago and love it when I use it. Although I do not reach for it often, I end up falling back in love with it when I do opt to use it. I was slightly disappointed when I noticed the shimmer did not run through the lip balm and rather just the outside, I think it would’ve been nice if a little ran through it too. 

I ordered this Huda Beauty lip balm with my order eyeshadow pallets. At first glance, I was a bit shocked: both very purple and a lot of glitter... in practice, it turns out that you see nothing of it at all. But really nothing: just a colorless, glitterless lip balm. It is comfortable to wear and has no taste/smell. But then you might as well buy a basic balm. This packaging and appearance look more fancy on your beauty shelf... that in turn.

When you keep in mind that it's a lip balm, you can't be disappointed. However, I expected to get a tinted balm with subtle glitter. Euhhh, no. The balm is nurturing, and that's it. No shade, no significant shine or glitter. Just a very pricey labello. Nothing more.
