Clear Spot Control

When a pimple/inflammation develops, I gently place the applicator on the spot. The manual states that you should let this rest for about 30 seconds; I won't do that. I let the product air dry before applying any follow-up products. I notice that pimples recover quickly! The downside is that the applicator touches the skin and then goes back into the bottle and comes into contact with the rest of the product. What does that do to the quality and shelf life? Wonderful ingredients!!
