Great vitamin c serum

Great vitamin c serum! After using the rather pricey C-firm serum from Drunk Elephant for a while, I had occasionally suffered from pimples and some slight irritation. That's why I started looking for a more affordable alternative. Most vitamin c serums do get some pimples when I use it too often, but I've been using the mad hippie for 8 weeks every other day, sometimes every day and really don't suffer from anything. Lubricates well and absorbs quickly. I always put a Moisturizer over it immediately, otherwise it will feel a bit tight on my dry skin. Most vitamin c serums use ascorbic acid, which is very acidic and requires a high concentration to penetrate into the skin. Besides that, it's not that stable. This ensures that you can get pimples. Mad hippie uses ascorbyl phosphate in it, this much more stable form of vitamin c penetrates more easily into the skin and is very soft so it does not cause pimples/acne. In addition, it includes beautiful antioxidants, vitamin e and hyaluronic acid. And very nice vitamin c serum for a reasonable price!

Delicious, delicious and honest serum! An expert in the field of beauty once told me “if you invest in a stoneware serum, you don't need an expensive day cream - just a (good) sunscreen for the face and you're done”. Since then, I have been following this advice carefully and noticed that especially now that I am moving towards 35 in age, I really needed a somewhat 'deeper' serum. I ended up at Mad Hippie via via and after having lubricated 2 jars, I have to write about it. This Vitamin C serum is a blend of antioxidants and contains, among other things, the form of vitamin C “sodium ascorbyl phosphate (STAY-C® 50)”, ferulic acid, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, grapefruit, chamomile extract, clary sage and konjac root powder. It is a serum that is suitable for mixed/slightly dry skin and I really need another cream afterwards because I have a slightly drier skin. If you prefer something fatter yourself (out of preference or because you have drier skin) - they also have an oil variant. The serum spreads well (tip: really take those 2 minutes to massage it well into your skin) and absorbs quickly. My skin has really fixed up!! Soft, smooth, more even, soothed. I have rosacea on my left cheek and that's less now. Now I'm not sure if this is purely because of the serum (I started with a toner these days, so maybe it's that combination), but overall - it can't help but contribute. It has nothing but great reviews and recommendations everywhere. Mad Hippie is an American brand that has won many awards; not only the products, but they also praise the philosophy and business operations; so their mission is “More actives. More results. Give our natural skin care products a try and feel good knowing you are taking a step towards healthier, more beautiful skin, while we work together towards a healthier, more beautiful planet.” For example, all products contain a high concentration of anti-aging ingredients that 1) really do something for your skin and 2) they work supplementing and synergistic. They make high-quality and safe products that are free of parabens, synthetics, PEGs, SLS and other additives. Cruelty-free, their impact on the environment is as small as possible, the airless pump packaging is BPA free and fully recyclable, they print with soy ink, only use alternative energy and of every product sold online, $1 goes to the charity Save the Elephants and they support Whole Planet Foundation. Totally nice!

Best serum I've ever had! It feels very light on the skin and absorbs quickly, very nice for under your day/night cream. Have sensitive skin and don't get red spots or dry spots in my face. Really recommended!
