L’Oréal Paris ProXXL Extension Mascara

I was sent this product for free in return for my honest review by L'Oréal Paris. Wow wow wow. What an amazing mascara. It is a two step system, both steps are black but do different things. There is no stark white primer like the two step systems of my younger days! Step one is a volumising primer, which coats the lashes really easily and gives lots of length. Step two fans out and shapes the lashes and also thickens and lifts them to give volume and extra fluttery heaven. I'm so impressed. I think it's made a real difference to my lashes and I absolutely love the effect. This will be going into my "core makeup" makeup bag.

Having tried many, many different brands and types of mascara, I think I have finally settled on this one! It lengthens and lifts without being clumpy and gives life back to my previously sad eyelashes. I struggle with smudging and always ended up with ‘panda eyes’ at the end of the night until I found this. 

I love this mascara and it lasts throughout the day. You apply step one and then step two! It didn’t irritate my eyes or make them feel itchy. I have to be careful with mascara sometimes as at the end of the day it irritates me but I’m glad to say this one didn’t affect my eyes and it didn’t smudge either which is great! It really gave me the volume I wanted!  ✨This mascara is 17x more volume! ✨Apply step one brush first and then step two brush for a curl effect!  ✨Sweat proof. ✨Clump free.  ✨Lashes look as good as salon lashes! ✨Infused with pro-keratin.

Note: I have Asian lashes, which are very straight and point down, so I always have to use a lash curler first. This mascara has 2 compartments, which are marked with number 1 and 2. You first use #1, which is the mascara to model your lashes. The brush is slim and and has bristles. I love that this consistency is not too wet, so I can easily style my lashes without losing the curl. After the styling you go over to #2, which is for lengthening your lashes. This brush is wide with bristles and the consistency of this mascara looks like “little hairs”. These hairs will add the length to your lashes, but also add some volume. I rarely use false lashes, but in case you want to wear them I would recommend to only use #1. I am very content with this mascara and will keep using it until something better comes by 😉
