Not so natural glow

I absolutely loved the luminous aura CC but then I saw that they were selling in china (so not cruelty-free) and this product disappeared from the range so decided not to buy anymore. But now they are back with a new line and say nowhere in the world to test on animals anymore, so I was curious about this BB. I don't like it. It's not the worst BB I've ever had but it doesn't work for my skin at all. I get a very blotchy effect because it clings to dry spots I have. With lubrication, it does smear fine, but it dries quite dry on it, which does not work for my skin. In addition, with something that has luminous glow in the name, you expect a slightly more glowie finish but is more natural to matte. Furthermore, the color is not a match for me at all. Most Asian BB's are perfect for my pale skin with slightly yellowish undertones. But this one is really orange on me. Are they trying to enter the western market more? Which is not a problem, but with just this shade, I don't think they'll get there. It is not neutral enough to blend into multiple skin tones. So, for me, a huge setback. But I can imagine if you have oily skin and the color matches you that it might still be something. The packaging is beautiful though. There is a nice glow over the pink tube. #springcleaning2022
