NYX Professional Makeup Soft Matte Lip Cream 8ml

The Nyx soft matte lip creams are one of my favourite lip products. The formula is so nice, it feels soft on the lips and creates good coverage perfect for a red lip but without the drying feeling that a lot of matte lip products produce. I enjoy these as a base underneath a gloss. My only criticism with the red lip cream is it does have a tendency to transfer specially when eating and drinking so can sometimes smudge or need to be topped up throughout an event.

The color is perfect for every day, a warm nude that looks good on everything. The texture is creamy at first and then sets and becomes opaque, but without drying the lips. I use it even when my lips are a little chapped and it doesn't show off the skin. Small, practical, easy to carry in your bag. It doesn't last long if you eat, but it's easy to touch up. One of the few matte lipsticks that I use with pleasure.
