I was surprised by the design of the box and the travel pouch. A super big advantage is that when travelling, the travel pouch not only allows you to charge your toothbrush but also your phone directly through the socket that is in the case. The brush itself has a variety of positions, from ordinary brushing, polishing to brushing the tongue. There is also a timer on it that lets you know when to switch quadrant. A pressure sensor indicates when too much pressure is applied. The brush comes with three different brushes. I like that because I can try the different brushes as well. The engine is really powerful, I notice a very clear difference from my previous toothbrush. Battery life is about 10 days, fine as far as I'm concerned. Then this brush has a bluetooth function that needs to be paired with an app on the phone. This app is mainly a timer, so it's already on the phone so that gives me little extra. For me, that's no reason to bring my phone up. However, there are some additional features in the app such as a brush challenge and a position detection that requires you to set up the phone's camera properly so that your face is visible. The children found the detection function very interesting and it helped to get them brushed better, especially in the areas that are a bit trickier to reach. The app is a fun gadget but not special for me. For kids, a similar app might be an incentive. There are trophies to earn and you can change the color of the handle in the app.
