The Blazing Mister Sam Edp Spray

I seriously do not know how best to describe this other than saying this was the best blind buy of my life. Every single note of this fragrance just hits all the senses in the best possible way. It is a monster in terms of silliage, longevity, leaves a fragrance trail and will set you apart from the crowd. Just trust me, if you have the funds, buy this and you won’t be disappointed. If you’re disappointed, then maybe a better alternative might be fortuitous Finley. Both bangers.

Ffo: Penhaligons Halfeti, Gucci Intense Oud This is one of the best blended fragrances that Penhaligons have created in my opinion. The spicy opening of cinnamon and cardamom is sensual, seductive, and opulent, whilst the dry down into the more masculine leaning black pepper, saffron and cumin is empowering. The fragrance closes into leather, vanilla, patchouli and tobacco, and is like going for a drink in an upmarket bar that still allows smoking, whilst wearing a stylish leather jacket. The performance is slightly lacking on this one, and performs significantly better on clothes, to skin, which is why I give it only 4 stars. Overall, one of the finest fragrances I own currently.

Blazing Mr Sam is a refreshing twist for summer, with a character that stands out from the usual crowd. It’s distinctive without being overwhelming, especially once it settles into the heart — smooth, balanced, and surprisingly easy to wear in the heat. I’ve had a few compliments while wearing it, which says a lot about its appeal. The only drawback for me was the longevity; it didn’t seem to last as long as I’d hoped. Still, for a scent that feels both unique and approachable, it earns a solid four stars.
