Rice water for long, shiny locks
After paying a lot of attention to my skincare routine, it was sometimes time to tackle my hair. I bleached it two years ago, which it's still not completely recovered from. Before that, I had extremely thick and healthy hair, but after bleaching, I had a lot of hair loss. It is fast on the way to recovering fortunately, but I wanted to lend a hand in this. That is why I decided, among other things, to try rice water. This should make your hair stronger and shinier, and also stimulate hair growth. If you're looking for Huangluo village in China on Google, you probably know why I was sold. Speaking of hairgoals 😉 You can also make rice water quite easily yourself, but I decided to order it online anyway. In addition to rice water, there were also jojoba, vitamins and peppermint in this, which I liked myself. I chose the 9 weeks treatment, then you get 3 bottles + a free spray bottle. As it stands, I can do 4x with one bottle, so you'll even have enough for 12 weeks. You have to keep the bottles in the freezer so that they keep a good shelf life, and every time I just take one out to have it partially thaw until I can fill the spray bottle. That's more than enough to soak my hair with rice water. Then I just throw the bottle back into the freezer, so that works very easily too. You use it once a week by spraying it into your hair in the evening and then massaging it in. I use my shampoo brush for that myself. Then I wrap it in a towel and let it work in for the rest of the night. The next morning, rinse it out and use only conditioner or a hair mask for your hair. They recommend waiting 24 hours before washing your hair. That's why I always do this on weekends because my hair doesn't feel and look really fresh when I wash my hair without shampoo. That's actually the only drawback I've encountered from this so far. The product smells nice and fresh because of the peppermint. In addition, it also feels wonderfully fresh on your scalp after massaging. I'm only in the third week, so a full review is still going to follow at the end. But I already have the idea that my hair already feels healthier and thicker than before I started this. My scalp also feels calmer and cleaner, but of course that's also because you take the time to massage it. So I can't really say anything about accelerated hair growth, but I hope to experience that as well. In any case, I am very satisfied with it so far and I certainly feel that I see a difference already. I am therefore very curious what the end results will be. So be continued! P.S. Anyone else already experience with that product? Or rice water in general? Wonder what your experiences are! 😊
