LUSH

Scrubee

The Scrubee from Lush is a toffee-scented body scrub that can be used in the bath and shower. Due to the grated coconut shell and almonds, the product acts as an exfoliant on the skin and honey and cocoa butter also gives it moisture.

Scrubee

Delicious product, it smells like honey and chocolate, the smell is really phenomenal, and yet I'm not convinced. One scrub is 14 euros and in my shower it really doesn't last longer than a few times, it's really a fat product so in the shower it's also a lot of slipping and sliding. For the smell of putting it on a shelf, I would buy it, for real use, maybe

Maybee next time

A few weeks ago I was back in the Lush for the first time in a long time. I don't try to do this too often, because every time I take home about half the store. 😉 I already had a nice basket full, but then I spotted this cute thing at the last minute and it had to go home. This scrub, in the form of a beautiful bee, is a body butter and scrub in one and promises a polished and hydrated skin. Ingredients The cool thing about this scrub is that it doesn't use microbeads to exfoliate your skin like most other scrubs, which eventually ends up as plastic waste in seawater. Instead, it contains ground coconut peel and almonds. There is also (fair trade & organic) cocoa and shea butter in it, and of course this product is not tested on animals, as is accustomed to by Lush. The list of ingredients looks great, as far as I can see. Incidentally, there is perfume in this product, but this does not bother me myself. Use Unfortunately, I'm not super excited about the use. The product is packaging free (top!) but that means that you have to go over your body with the scrub in your hand. Of course, he gets slippery, and it has happened to me several times that I let him slip out of my hands. Besides, it's not really the case that it slides easily over your skin, it's a bit stiff. You really need to use a lot of water to prevent this. In that respect, I prefer a liquid scrub, which works a bit easier for me. Results I honestly don't feel like my skin is really being scrubbed. I don't really feel or see “scrub particles” when used. The product feels hydrating, it looks like a soft layer is placed on top of your skin. I'm not the biggest fan of this personally, it feels a little greasy. The product smells very good, and that smell still lingers for a while. It smells a bit like white chocolate, but I don't think it's a very strong or overwhelming smell. My cat also liked it smelling enough to come and see what I was doing 😁 Price It costs €12 per bee. I find it pretty pricey myself, especially because it goes through it pretty fast. I think I've been doing this for about six weeks. Although I would have loved to be positive about this, it's just not really my product. If you are really looking for a scrub I would definitely not recommend this product. If you're looking for something to soften your skin, this product might be interesting. At least I'm just going to look for a new scrub, because it's not really repetitive to me. Tips are always welcome 😊

He looks very cute, though. Nice and clear review, thanks. Too bad that your experience/effect is not as desired.

Good but pricey

Nice to use but unfortunately pricey, as we are used to from Lush... Luckily I've been able to do it for a long time. Scrubee scrubs and cares for what is super fine at the same time. Definitely recommended if you want to pamper yourself occasionally, but I think it's too expensive to use as a standard shower product myself. I'd rather use a different shower scrub. (It's easy to make it yourself with sugar, find a tutorial)
