Superstay Teddy Tint

Absolutely love this lip tint! The shade "Ribbon Tied 90" is so perfect it's that beautiful soft warm blush tint that really gives the "my lips but better" look. There is no stickiness, it's super comfy, and honestly it's in my everyday bag now.

I had the opportunity to test Maybelline's super-stay teddy tint, and I think it's a game-changer! The applicator brush has a teddy-like texture, which makes it great for product application. The tint goes on evenly in one swipe, providing matte-like coverage. The shade of the tint matches the colour of the end of the applicator. The tint dries after a few seconds which lasts throughout the day but comes off while eating just like a regular lipstick. The best thing has to be the applicator brush.

Personally, im familiar with the vinyl lip series of Maybelline. The formula for this is not necessarily moisturising and quite sticky if you start building up the color- otherwise, a thin layer dries down and wont have your lips feeling tacky and sticky at all. Its color is opaque and matt which i like. It sort of creates this "blurred lip" effect which you can utilize to give your lips a slightly plumper look. I would claim that this this lip tint lasts quite long, however it suffers its longevity when in conact with oily foods. I like to use the applicator of the lip tint to apply an even layer of product, afterwarda i go in with the tip of my finger to smudge and blurr the harsh lines created around my lipline to create a softer, almost natural look. I would say, matt lipsticks generally look more "everyday" appropriate when its harshness is toned down (ex: by softening the lipline area). Therefore, i would not line the lips with an additional product to retain that soft look. I think, comparing the price to its performance and its amount of product, its worth it. Additionally, what sells it is its performance. Its long-lasting above all. If you dotn mind the potential tacky feeling, i do recommend it.

The product is very pigmented. I got the lovely shade nr15. It applies easily. Consistency is smooth and pleasant. Great size and comes with applicator. I would purchase again.
