The Ordinary Signs of aging Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion

I’m not 100% sure how well it works yet since, like with all retinoids, you need to use it consistently over time to see real results. That said, I love the texture of this product! I’ve tried the squalane version before and really disliked the greasy, film-like feeling it left on my skin. In contrast, this emulsion sinks in beautifully—perfect for my slightly oily skin. It feels lightweight and soothing, and I haven’t experienced any bad reactions at all. So far, it’s a pleasure to use, and I look forward to seeing results down the line!

I am already using retinol for a few years. My skin is not so sensitive anymore to any kind of retinoids.  I like this particular product because of its consistency. It easily absorbs into skin and feels amazing. Does not irritate.. After a few weeks I could see a slight change in my skin tone and texture. Skintone seemed more even and skin looked plump. I would definitely recommend it. But as already mentioned, only if you are familiar with retinol/ Retinoid. Please do not forget to use a sunscreen with this product. And of course it’s a night time product so use it best min. Half an hour before going to bed.

This product is a game-changer! Although I was a little reluctant to attempt it at first since retinoids are frequently accused of having adverse effects on the skin (e.g. purging), this is the product that has turned out to be my holy grail. This product is something I added to my nighttime skincare routine as an extra step after toner, hyaluronic acid, and eye cream and before the moisturizer. I saw immediate results from the first couple of days that I was using it and the results continued to improve as the week progressed! One of the most noticeable results was in the texture of my skin and the appearance of my acne scars and fine lines after just one use since I noticed that my skin appeared much plumper and smoother the following morning after my first application. In my opinion, this is one of the products that I would 100% recommend owing to the fact that it is very inexpensive, thus giving you the chance to experiment with it on your skin. Finally, I recommend layering the product in the way I described above, for the most effective results!

Milky lightweight emulsion. Absorbs quickly. Don't be fooled into thinking that this won't pack a punch, it does! I was a little over-enthusiastic when I first used it and the next morning, my skin was noticeably dry in places. Lesson learned and a couple of drops is sufficient. I've used Retin A in the past, but the price point and effectiveness of this product is enough that I wouldn't buy Retin A again
