I like it
I didn't put much on. But I know it worked because my makeup looked better than normal, it didn't feel too heavy, and my skin, which doesn't like primer, reacted okay to this. So I would buy it. My skin is normally sensitive and turns red easily, so it shocked me when it didn't turn red.

Just like the name says!
This primer makes your skin feel velvety and smooth, but without being oily, as the name says. I think it is good for people with oily skin. I apply it after sunscreen and it goes on smoothly. Some primers I have tried do not. It also helps makeup go on but I noticed it did not make a difference with how long lasting or waterproof the makeup is. It does not feel hydrating like the ordinary primer I currently use, so for dry skin lotion is necessary. I also feel that it is a bit pricey, and small. It resembles the cheaper elf hydrating skin primer a lot, so that is a budget friendly alternative.

Does not suit my skin.
The Meroda Velvet primer feels just like velvet and goes on smoothly, although I suspect it is silicone, it hides pores and fine lines and without make up it looks amazing and feels great. I tried putting the Meroda changing colour foundation on top but it felt sticky and did not go on so smoothly. I love the changing foundation but not the primer. The make up was also not easy to remove with the primer, it seemed to stick in my pores. This primer is not for me.
