Very light yet very moisturising & versatile

I was very surprised at how watery the product was at first. I was expecting a cream of some sort, but it literally is the consistency of a toner. But once you get beyond that, it really is good. I splash a bit into my palm, rub hands together and then rub it fairly liberally over my face and neck. Because it's watery, i little goes a long way. It's brilliant as a first layer, with and it really does moisturise on its own. I use it underneath foundation, and I also use it under the Aveda intense hydrating rich creme over, and my skin is moisturised and dewy after that for ages.
