Good but not great

Korean sunscreens are amazing so my expectations are high when it comes to sunscreen for the face. This one is certainly good, it doesn't leave a white cast and works very well for my dry skin. However, I don't enjoy the scent. It's a tangy scent I've smelled before in skincare. It's not bad, I just don't like it. I always apply the sunscreen to my eyelids and usually never have problems with that, but this one stings a little bit. Again, not badly, but a little uncomfortable. So all in all, I didn't hate using this, but I wouldn't repurchase this.

‌ THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SPF 50! Scientific Demonstrated

Skincare world scandal! A brand that many of you will know and use has recently been very negative in the news. It is a product of the Korean brand Purito. They are known for simple, effective skincare with minimal use of ingredients. One of their best-selling products all time turns out to be a FRAUD: the Purito Centella Green Level Unscented Sun. This product is advertised as a spf 50+, PA ++++. Recent scientific research has shown that this is not the case. The product is just a spf 19, providing significantly less protection against harmful sun rays than claimed. The product contains only two sunscreens in very low percentages (3% Uvinul A and 2% Uvinul T). This is unusually little, especially for a product that should be spf 50. This discovery was enough reason for skeptics to get the product tested in two independent labs across Europe. Both labs took the product under the barrel, 🔍 and the results matched: the sunburn has a factor of about spf 19. Purito has made a public post on their Instagram page (purito_official), discussing the issue, apologizing, and indicating that they will also have the products tested and published the results. Until then, the three Purito sunscreen products have been temporarily removed from the market.

It's still a good product @ [taraxkimberly] (taraxkimberly) â˜ș the reason I gave it 1 star in my review is because of the false SPF claim, not so much because the product isn't good. At this time of year, where it is not so sunny, you can use the Purito SPF as sun protection. Especially if you spend a lot of time indoors during the day. If you prefer to go for a slightly higher factor, I can recommend the @ [paulaschoice] (paulaschoice) Essential Glow Moisturizer with SPF 30. This one is currently my favorite, also because of the antioxidants it contains đŸ„° And for very sunny weather with a high UV index, I like an SPF 50+; last summer I used Garnier's (Sensitive Advanced Expert+ Face/Visage). Hope this helps! âœŒđŸŒ
