AMELIORATE Double Cleansing Duo (Worth £35)

This combo is exceptional, good exfoliant made my skin soft and glowing . I tried not to to use everyday to avoid over exfoliating, I used twice a week but it worked wonders, it’s a product I am not giving up. I love love them, they are great and work wonders

I came across Ameliorate when I was looking for a cleanser for sensitive mature skin. I had a spell where anything I used caused cystic acne and I was terrified to use anything. I needn’t have worried here. The cleanser is mildly scented, which is always reassuring for those of us with sensitive skin. You simply wet your face and apply a small amount of cleanser. It isn’t harsh or abrasive and yet it leaves your skin radiantly clear. I wouldn’t say it removes hard skin in the usual way a cleanser exfoliates but it nourishes and softens without causing greasiness or flare ups. I found any redness has decreased, I rarely get spots and certainly no cystic acne. Definitely worth a try for those with sensitive blemish prone skin and those of us over 40.

I use this cleanser as a second step in my double cleansing (after using a cleansing balm) The texture is milky and sort of transparent It does not make my skin feel tight or add irritation. It is gentle and also acts as a milk exfoliate It has a pleasant fragrance Just apply it on damp skin, massage 2 or 3 pumps, let in sit for 2 minutes, then rinse with plenty of warm water My skin is left soft and hydrated One the main ingredients is Prickly Pear Extract
