I took a mixed pack of Compeed plasters with me on holiday to Austria. I knew we were going to do a lot of walking and I thought they may come in handy “just in case”. The pack is so compact and easy to carry I always had it in my backpack for emergencies. We were on Austria’s Lake District and went up a mountain. It was a glaciar and the views were amazing but the terrain was not flat and it was tricky to walk. My walking boots started to rub and I could feel a blister coming so I stopped and applied a medium size plaster to the back of my foot. I immediately felt relief and stopped feeling my boots rubbing which saved the day as I was able to enjoy a long walk around the mountain and see all the sights without any problems. I left the plaster on and did not take it off for a few days so I managed to do lots of walking and sightseeing and not feel any discomfort from my walking boots. Once the plaster came off I did not have any scars or noticeable marking on my skin so it was perfect. I am very impressed by these plasters and I am converted so from now on I will always carry these whenever I take a trip anywhere.
