B.O? Just say "No".

Stinky underarms. A glamorous topic if there ever was one. I've been using natural deodorants for decades (insert appropriate age related joke here) and how things have moved on. Thankfully! This is a cardboard tube and you push the bottom up which pushes the deodorant stick up. The good: - It works. I'm a bit of sweaty Betty (oversharing much?) but rarely have to worry about getting close to people with this on. - It's moisturising. Sometimes natural deos can irritate my skin but this doesn't. - It's easy to use most of the time. - The packaging is cardboard so really easy to recycle. - I've tried pretty much all of the scents and they are lovely. - It's easy to get hold of online and in person. The Bad - It leaves a creamy, almost greasy layer on your underarms. This doesn't seem to come off on clothing but you can feel it. It doesn't bother me most of the time now I'm used to it. - The stick doesn't melt as such but in hot weather, the tube can get a bit greasy. The Ugly - It can be a faff to use. You have to use a finger to push the deo stick up but after a while I can't reach it to push it up (darn these stumpy fingers). - Towards the end of the tube, the stick doesn't stay in place so when you use it, it sinks back into the tube and you end up rubbing the cardboard tube on your underarms, not the actual deo. - At the end of the tube, you have to take the last bit of the stick out and use it without the tube. The bottom line: This is my default deodorant. It's not perfect but what is (apart from me obviously)? It reliably works, is easy to get hold of and smells nice.
